Non Banking Finance Companies: Role & Future Prospects

Abstract :

Non–banking financial companies, or NBFCs, are financial institutions that provide banking services, but do not hold a banking license. This paper mainly focus on the role of NBFCs in India, its significance, the funding sources of NBFCs and its future prospects. Finally the paper concludes that NBFCs have to focus more on their core strengths and must constantly endeavour to search for new products and services in order to survive and grow constantly
