Possibilities of Implementing Airport Self–Service Technologies

Abstract :

The main objective of this article consists in analysing the possibilities of optimizing check–in system using self–service technologies. These technologies could reduce the time needed for passenger check–in, increase the level of service and contribute to the passenger convenience. As a case study, the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague check–in system in Terminal 2 is analysed.
