Impact of Two Saline AM Fungi on Growth of Onion (Allium cepa L.)

Abstract :

<p>&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;A pot trial was conducted to study the impact of AM fungi on growth of onion (Allium cepa L). Two AM fungal sp, (Glomus fasiculatum and Gigaspora margarita) were selected for this study. Onion seedlings were grown in plastic pots with different treatment of AM fungi, after 60 days, they were evaluated for AM fungi spores&amp;amp;rsquo; number, percentage of colonization, morphometric and biochemical parameters. The results showed that AM fungi had significantly increased in growth of onion in all the treatment when compared with control.&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
