A Study of Teacher Effectiveness between Male and Female Teachers at Government and Private Secondary School

Abstract :

<p>&nbsp;<span style="text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;">The purpose of the present study is to assess the teacher effectiveness of higher secondary school teachers. Survey method of research has been used in the present study. Teacher Effectiveness Scale developed by </span><span style="text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;">Kumar, P. and Muth, D.N. (1974</span><b style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&#10;&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif;mso-bidi-font-style:italic">) </span></b><span style="text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;">was used for collecting the data. The investigator randomly selected 540 higher secondary school teachers of government and private schools of Uttarakhand. The data was analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t- test.
