The solvent extracts were found very significantly inhibiting Pseudomonas at the highest concentrations very effectively. These extracts were efficiently inhibiting the multidrug resistant pathogenic strains. The phytochemical analysis revealed that the extract contained alkaloids, tannins, terpenoids etc. which may be attributed to the antimicrobial effect of the extract.
