Women entrepreneurship in India-A Case study

Abstract :

<p>&nbsp;<span style="font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Women in India are playing an important role in country&rsquo;s governance, economic development and social progress. </span><span style="font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Women&rsquo;s participation in work is an indicator of their status in a society. </span><span style="font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Women contribute to the economy in many ways. Gone are the days when women were considered only the household entities commanded by males</span><span style="font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif; font-size: 12pt;">. India has experienced rapid growth and development in the past years in many spheres. </span><span style="font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The contribution of women is omnipresent and all pervasive in every sphere of life.
