Abstract :

They account for 10-15% of <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">all <sub> </sub>chondrosarcomas and show an increased growth rate and rapid metastatic spread.<b><sup>[2]</sup></b> <sub><o:p></o:p></sub></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma refers to the presence of a poorly differentiated <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">sarcomatous component (osteosarcoma, fiosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma and <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">pleomorphic sarcoma with MFH like features) at the periphery of a typical low grade <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">chondrosarcoma. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
