2 Rare Cases of Kaposiform Hemangioendothelioma Mimicking Infantile Hemangioma , Confirmation of Diagnosis by Immunohistochemistry Using D2–40 Antibody

Abstract :

This case study was conducted in M.P.Shah Medical college to establish the closeness of 2 vascular tumours which on histopathologic examination appear very similar to the casual observer but the clinical outcomes vary greatly and our often life threatening.Here we used immunohistochemistry to differentiate between the two tumors and arrived at an appropriate clinical diagnosis thereby preventing mortality of a young child
