in Vitro Pharmacological Studies of Some 6, 8-Dibromo Quinazolin-4(3H) Ones Derivatives

Abstract :

Some nitrogen containing 6, 8-diomoquinazolin-4(3H) one derivatives were synthesized by the base catalyzed cyclisation of acrylamide with phenyl hydrazine hydrate. The structural confirmation of the synthesized compounds was carried out on the basis of elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectra results. The title compounds were screened for antibacterial and antifungal activities in vitro.
