Abstract :

<span lang="EN-IN" style="text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;">The development of Morphometric techniques was a major advance in the quantitative description of the geometry of the drainage basins and its network which helps in characterizing the drainage network, comparing the characteristic of several drainage networks and examining the effect of variables such as lithology, rock structure, rainfall etc. <span style="text-align: justify; font-family: "Bookman Old Style", serif;">The correlation of the data is carried out in three ways, viz. correlation between morphometric parameters with mean basin altitude and slope.

<span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">
