<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Aims and Objective<span lang="EN-IN" style="text-align: justify; font-size: 14pt; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;">: The aim of this study was to analyse the superficial palmar arch (SPA) and its variations and also to study its association with other variations of upper limb like high-up bifurcation of achial artery, presence of median artery, absence of palmaris longus etc.

<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Materials and methods<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">: 70 preserved cadavers were dissected during routine curricular dissection at RDGMC,Ujjain and RIMS, Ranchi; relevant anomaly of SPA and its association with any other anomaly was photographed and analysed

<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Result and discussion<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">: Complete superficial palmar arch (SPA) variations were observed in 111 cadaveric hands; whereas there were 29 cadaveric hand with the variations incomplete superficial palmar arch (SPA). Also its association with other co-existing variation was observed, photographed and analysed.

<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Conclusion<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">: Present study is clearly indicates the presence of collateral communication of radial artery in majority (78.3%) with ulnar artery or in some cases persistent median artery as a component of SPA.

<span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">
