In order to perform this role effectively a teacher must be intelligent in using his emotion and satisfied with the profession. Data were collected using &lsquo;Teacher Effectiveness Scale&rsquo; and &lsquo;Emotional Intelligence Scale&rsquo; and analysed using t&rsquo; test.
