Tobacco is also consumed in the form of chewing tobacco as well as</div> <div>snuff. The tobacco products demanded by the guest are cigars and cigarettes . The person who is responsible to serve cigars and cigarettes</div> <div>in Hotels is known as Sommelier The use of tobacco creates risk factors for many diseases like it affects the heart, liver and lungs. The</div> <div>countries where tobacco is grown are China, India, Japan, South Africa and many other countries. Cigars are available in various sizes and</div> <div>shapes like Parejo, Pyramid, torpedo etc.</div> <div>The cigar is having three parts i.e. 􀃶ller, binder and wrapper while cigarettes are machine rolled. Due to the coming of International hotel</div> <div>chains to India like Hyatt, Marriot the ratio of people taking cigars has been increased because when the ratio of International hotels</div> <div>increased ,the traffic movement of International guest also increased .As we know the use of cigar is more in other countries so they have</div> <div>inculcate the habit of smoking cigars in India as well .Due to this the domestic hotels have also started keeping the cigars in order to survive</div> <div>in the market.</div> <div>Tobacco has its usage from last many years and is considered as the most highly addictive increasingly popular with the arrival of countries</div> <div>like Spain to America. The moment Industrial Revolution came Cigarettes were becoming were popular in the Region of Europe as well as in</div> <div>the New World.</div> <div>The discovery of Tobacco was done by the native people Mesoamerica as well as by South America and later on they introduced it to the rest</div> <div>of the World. Objectives</div> <div>&Yuml; To 􀃶nd out the consumption of Tobacco in India.</div> <div>&Yuml; To know the risk factors associated with the consumption of tobacco.</div> <div>&Yuml; To know the factors which have speeded up the consumption of Tobacco in India.</div> <div>&Yuml; To know the measures taken in order to reduce the ratio of people consuming Tobacco.</div>
