Pregnancy-associated atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome (p-aHUS) is a rare condition characterized by microangiopathichemolyticanemia, thrombocytopenia, and acute kidney injury. Triggered by pregnancy, genetically predisposed women develop the syndrome, leading to a disastrous hemolytic disease characterized by diffuse endothelial damage and platelet consumption [1].<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;&#10;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;">Being one of the </span><span lang="EN-IN"><a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/differential-diagnosis" title="Learn more about Differential diagnosis"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;&#10;line-height:115%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;;color:windowtext;&#10;text-decoration:none;text-underline:none">differential diagnoses</span></a></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;"> of </span><span lang="EN-IN"><a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/pre-eclampsia" title="Learn more about Pre-eclampsia"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;&#10;line-height:115%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;;color:windowtext;&#10;text-decoration:none;text-underline:none">preeclampsia&ndash;eclampsia and</span></a><a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/hellp-syndrome" title="Learn more about HELLP syndrome"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;&#10;line-height:115%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;;color:windowtext;&#10;text-decoration:none;text-underline:none">HELLP syndrome</span></a></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;"> the clinician must be familiar with the disease due to its high mortality, which can be modified with </span><span lang="EN-IN"><a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/early-diagnosis" title="Learn more about Early Diagnosis"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;&#10;line-height:115%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;;color:windowtext;&#10;text-decoration:none;text-underline:none">early diagnosis</span></a></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;"> and comprehensive treatment.
