Dr. Bidyut Biswas, Dr. Arkaprovo Roy

Abstract :

<p>&nbsp;20 patients of histologically proved and locally advanced east cancer were evaluated for suitability of east</p> <div>conservation surgery following down staging by neoadjuvant chemotherapy.</div> <div>nd All patients were assessed for suitability of east conservative surgery after 2 &amp; 4th cycle of chemotherapy, 12 patients (60 %) were found</div> <div>suitable for east conservation . Thus we conclude that east conservation surgery is possible in signi􀃶cant number of locally advanced</div> <div>east cancer, after down staging by neoadjuvant chemotherapy. But histopathological report of the operative specimens shows that 15</div> <div>patients were potentially suitable for BCS i.e. 75%.</div>
