Retroperitoneal non functioning paraganglioma- a case report

Abstract :

<p>&nbsp;<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;;&#10;mso-fareast-font-family:&quot;Arial Unicode MS&quot;;mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:&#10;EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA">Paragangliomas are extra adrenal neoplasm arising from sympathetic or Parasympathetic ganglia and are derived from chromaffin cells. These are rare asymptomatic and pre operative diagnosis is seldom common. We report a case of such retro peritoneal paraganglioma in a 35 year old presented with vague pain abdomen and normal serum catecholamines. Complete resection of tumour done and HPE confirmed paraganglioma</span></p>
