Novel Substituted 4-thiazolidinone, Synthesis and antimicrobial Evaluation

Abstract :

<p>&nbsp;<span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">A series of novel 4-thiazolidinone were synthesized with the aim to synthesize the biologically active molecules via C condensation of </span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">Schiff bases</span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"> and </span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">thioglycolic acid.</span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"> These newly synthesized compounds were characterized by physical, chemical and spectral analysis data (IR, </span><sup style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">1</sup><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">H-NMR, Mass) and are further screened for their antimicrobial activity using different Antimicrobes.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:.5in;line-height:200%;&#10;mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"><o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:.5in;line-height:200%;mso-layout-grid-align:&#10;none;text-autospace:none"><b>&nbsp;</b></p>
