The data were collected for a period of six weeks. It is found that alcoholism, gallstones, infections, intake of fatty foods and fried foods were the major risk factors for Acute Pancreatitis among patients attending Medical College Hospital,<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:200%"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:&#10;12.0pt;line-height:200%;mso-bidi-font-family:Times-Roman">Thiruvananthapuram.</span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:200%;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;&#10;mso-bidi-font-weight:bold"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
