IMPACT OF PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL ON MOTIVATION, EMPLOYEE COMMITMENT& ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS IN BANKS OF UTTARAKHAND

Abstract :
<p> <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;">The present study examined the impact of performance appraisal on the motivation, employee commitment and organizational effectiveness in banks of Uttarakhand. 477 bank employees</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;"> </span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;">were randomly selected from 12 scheduled commercial</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;"> </span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;">banks of Uttarakhand state in India. The results of the study concluded that performance appraisal has a significant and positive impact on the motivation, employee commitment and organizational effectiveness in banks. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:150%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
