BONE METASTASIS FROM SOLID CANCERS - A SINGLE INSTITUTIONAL EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDY

Abstract :

<p>&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The skeleton is one of the most common sites for metastasis, and tumors arising from the east, prostate and lung possess an increased propensity to spread to this site. Bone metastasis distal to the elbow and knee joint are extremely rare. Metastasis could be either solitary or multiple depending on the primary cancer. Solitary metastasis is more common with east cancer whereas multiple metastases are more common with prostate cancer</span></p>
